With the area fee, you can stay at Kotakylä either overnight (4 pm – 12 noon) or for the day (9 am – 7 pm).
The daily / overnight fee includes use of all activities in the area and the option to sleep in a kota, your own tent, or a hammock.
If you'd like one kota for your own private use, the extra charge is €10 / night.
Shared facilities for guests include kayaks, canoes, SUP boards, hammocks, outdoor activities, and fishing permits. On site you'll also find the distinctive Kotasauna, the pampering Hemmosauna, the mysterious Muasana, and the cozy Raft Sauna—one of these is heated daily as needed. By separate agreement (and for an additional fee) the Musta Kyly smoke sauna can also be heated.
By the shore, guests share access to the large Panorama Kota, unless it has been reserved for private use.
For cooking and storage, there's a communal kitchen shelter with a refrigerator, cooking utensils, and tableware.
CARAVAN AREA
A caravan spot costs €15 / vehicle + €5 / person + electricity €5. The price includes use of the shower and eco-toilet.
Caravan guests can also rent one of the four wood-heated saunas (self-heated) for €30 / 2 hours.
If a caravan group would like access to all the area's activities, this is possible by paying the personal area fee. If the whole group pays the area fee, then the caravan spot costs only the electricity, and sauna use is always included free of charge.

Good to know:
- Please note that in Kotakylä we live in close contact with nature. This means natural conditions, such as a shared waterless outdoor toilet, bathing in the sauna with lake water and adapting to different weather conditions. There are a few electrical outlets in the hut kitchen.

Staying overnight in a teepee is similar to tent accommodation, so you'll need appropriate gear for the conditions—such as warm clothing, a proper sleeping bag, and a pillow.
